What Is Upneeq®?

Upneeq® (oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution) is the first and only prescription eye drop designed to treat acquired ptosis, a condition in which the upper eyelid gradually droops over time. Packaged in single-use vials, it’s applied once daily and is safe for at-home use.

Many patients notice a visible difference in as little as 5–15 minutes, with full results in about two hours. Effects typically last up to 8 hours per application.

Am I a Good Candidate for Upneeq®?

Upneeq is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate eyelid drooping who want a non-invasive, convenient solution. It can be used on its own or alongside other aesthetic treatments. However, Upneeq is not recommended for individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure, dizziness when standing (orthostatic hypotension), or certain immune disorders. How to Use Upneeq®

Apply one drop of Upneeq to the affected eye each day. Be sure not to let the vial tip touch your eye or any surface. Discard the single-use vial after applying. If you wear contact lenses, wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

Who should not use Upneeq?

Can I use Upneeq with other eye drops?

Yes. Just wait at least 15 minutes after applying Upneeq before using other drops or inserting contact lenses.
