Kim, Practice Manager
Kim joined our practice in 2017 and brought with her 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her start in dermatology ignited a passion for aesthetics and provided a foundation for her transition to facial plastic surgery. She is driven by creating an exceptional patient experience and working collaboratively with our dedicated staff to support a dynamic and growing practice. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Hofstra University and, along with her entrepreneurial mindset and administrative background, strives to continually improve all aspects of the business.
Reena, Billing Manager
Reena has over 25 years in the healthcare field. Her extensive knowledge and experience includes all aspects of healthcare practice billing and collections. She is an organized and hard-working professional who possesses strong interpersonal skills and is always excited for a challenge. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day billing operations, she is responsible for the oversight and compliance of the Practice’s policies and procedures. Reena is adept at streamlining billing and collections processes to drive improvements while ensuring scalable and effective full-cycle billing operations. Her work to bring smooth and efficient processes to the complicated profession of medical billing allows the physician to focus on patient care.
Lindsey – Cosmetic Coordinator
In her role as Cosmetic Coordinator, Lindsey will navigate you through the entire cosmetic surgery experience – from understanding your aesthetic goals, to scheduling your procedure and answering any questions you may have along the way. She strives to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that will support and guide you through both the surgical and non-surgical procedures we offer. One of the most rewarding aspects of Lindsey’s role is the close relationship she develops with patients. Her personalized attention to detail, knowledge of treatment options and passion for helping patients look and feel their best will give you the comfort and confidence you’re looking for in your cosmetic decisions. Marylou – Surgical Coordinator
Marylou has devoted the last 15 years to Oculoplastic and Orbital Consultants, scheduling surgeries for both Dr. Patipa, the founder of the practice, and continuing with Dr. Connor. Marylou’s warmth and friendliness shine through from the first time you speak with her as it is her priority to make patients feel educated and comfortable with their procedure. Her thorough understanding of the insurance authorization requirements, visual field testing, and outpatient scheduling help to facilitate a seamless patient experience.
Erin, Surgical Technician
Erin began working with Dr. Connor in 2012 after having the opportunity to assist him in surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. With a strong background as a surgical technician for over 6 years, she welcomed the opportunity to lend her expertise as his first assistant in the operating room. Her accuracy and consistency in surgical tool preparation and operating room protocol make her a valuable asset to our practice. You will see Erin at each office visit, and she will be by your side during your surgical procedure. Erin feels lucky to do something she really loves with such a dedicated team that cares so much about their patients. She is a loving mother to her son and enjoys trips to Disney with her husband and family.
Maria – Patient Services Coordinator
With over 15 years of medical office experience, Maria has been caring for our patients since 2003 when she joined our practice as a front desk coordinator. Her extensive knowledge of insurance enables her to assist patients with their benefits, referrals and any financial responsibility they may incur for their visits or procedures. During check-out, she is happy to answer any additional questions, schedule follow-up appointments, coordinate diagnostic testing and advise patients of the surgery process. Maria’s compassionate nature makes her a true asset to both our practice and our patients who need timely appointments and require ongoing care. She is also our resident translator as she speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
Jeannine – Patient Services Coordinator
Jeannine’s caring and compassionate nature is obvious the moment you walk through our doors and her warm, inviting smile will be one of the first things you see when you arrive. With over 25 years of experience in a variety of professional settings, Jeannine brings a wealth of administrative and customer service skills to her position. She spreads a wonderful spirit of positivity throughout the practice in her interaction with our patients and team. When outside our doors, Jeannine volunteers with Healing Touch Buddies – a local organization that offers energy healing support for breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at hospitals in our area. She also finds time to practice yoga and meditation in addition to spending quality time with her friends, family and four pets.
